Football Manager 2010 Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I wasn't able to use the download options on SI's website, as I was deployed to Iraq at the time, so Amazon's option to get a hard copy was vital. I got the game (in Iraq!) only a few days after it was released.
If you haven't played since before 2008 or 2007, you certainly need to pick up 2010. The version is a great leap forward. Visually, it's a lot like 2009. The game play continues to give you more power, but in a way that's easier to understand. One of the options I particularly enjoy is where, instead of moving sliders, you assign a player a "type" of position, based on where he is on the field. This will determine how he plays that position. Instead of just a Striker, you can have a Deep-Lying Forward, Poacher, Target Man, etc. It's (in my mind, at least) a more intuitive way of doing business.
I'm hopelessly addicted to FM2010.
