I am completely dependent on Outlook and I use a number of the 7 habits tools as well as a modified Franklin Covey planner format so trying to merge them all together would be very valuable for me.
Unfortunately, Franklin Covey has yet to provide such a solution for me. I tried the outlook add-on a few years ago and while I was impressed with the system it had some short comings - especially as far as the stability of the program itself. I recently stumbled across a link to a trial for the most recent version (5.0) of the Outlook product so I thought I'd give it another try.
In short:
I love how easy it is to scheduling task and setup projects. It's nice to be able to easily code and then drag and drop tasks onto a daily or weekly schedule. Viewing tasks and projects is also nice.
I like being reminded to set and keep goals as well as missions and compass headings. While I'm not fanatical about these things, just seeing them on the tool bar seems to help me keep myself focused on the bigger picture and things are are really important.
I like the general format of the dashboard - it's pretty good at cramming a bunch of information in one screen.
However:
I hate how unstable the software is. It CONSTANTLY crashes my Outlook. In many cases I actually have to restart my computer to get Outlook back up. I had this problem with the last version I bought and the crashes are what made me abandon the program - what waste of $100 that was. I thought the new version may have solved that but I guess not - it is WORSE.
I hate how SLOW this add-on makes Outlook. It really bogs my system down. Business Contact Manager is a little slow to bring up but once your in it it runs pretty well - not PlanPlus. It's painful.
I hate that you can't customize the dashboard.
I hate that it doesn't play well with Business Contact Manager.
I hate the fact that when you set estimate times for tasks that those time estimates don't come with the task when you drag it to your calendar - wouldn't that make sense?
Bottom line - great concept, pretty good tool - absolutely awful software coding. Looks pretty - functions poorly. And it's backed up by very poor customer support.
I have one day left on my trial and I will, regrettably, have to uninstall it today. As much as I like what I cad do with it - I simply can not put up with the crashes.

I rely on my pocket pc every day. Without it I would probably be lost. It stores my schedule, appointments, to do list, and contact information for everyone I know. Until a few weeks ago, I thought the system was near perfect. Then I tried Pocket Informant, and realized just how much even simple tasks can be improved. Pocket Informant is wonderfully simple and compact. The program's main features are split across four screens, Calendar, Notes, Tasks, and Contacts, each replacing and improving upon their built in equivalents.
Calendar in agenda view is probably my favorite. The screen displays upcoming appointments and tasks for the next 21 or more days. The default, which I use, is 15. It can even be set to today only. These appointments are separated by blue date headers, green for weekends. Also available is a day view, with detailed yet easy to read hour by hour information, a week view, where the days are stacked boxes, and a month view, complete with icons and popup day details. Each of these improves greatly upon the built in version's equivalents.
Next up is the Alarm Notes. While I still find myself using the default notes for quick writings, alarm notes have a few handy features. The best of them being the ability to write a reminder then set it as an alarm in 5-45 minutes, 1-3 hours, or etc. from the current time.
Tasks view has changed the way I use tasks. With the default system, I only made tasks out of important items, to avoid a horribly long and diluted list. However, using both the category and A-Z 1-9 organizational features of Pocket Informant, I find I can make checklists of just about everything and effortlessly keep them straight. Pocket Informant has a powerful filter system built in, allowing me to easily view only the list of things to do, games to play, or Rant ideas for example. Using the A-Z 1-9 system, I can then further prioritize the resulting list. Tasks are also perfectly integrated with the calendar and agenda views. It lets me keep things separate by allowing me to view only dated tasks, typically the important ones, and hiding the undated, typically checklists.
Finally is the Contacts screen, which makes short work of storing and sorting hundreds if not thousands of lines of data. Each contact has all the information you would expect stored, as well as an optional icon. The filters and search abilities really pull through here making large databases effortless to use. Data can be set to display around 17 lines at a time, meaning no matter how many contacts you have, you won't have to face a loading screen. It even includes a phone dialer which when held up to a phone receiver, plays the touch tone sounds through the speaker and automatically dials the number! Sure, it's not necessary, but if you already clicked 3 times to have the Pocket PC look up the number for you, why not click twice more and have it dial?
Some might have trouble justifying a purchase that basically does the same thing as the built in functions. Well, while this is true, the important thing to remember is it does it much better and saves you a great deal of time and effort. This is probably the entire reason for having that information in the Pocket PC to begin with. With all these features for just under $$, it's a hard deal to beat.

This game is very much compilcated because of its walking feature.Its a shooting game which you have to distroy several bosses. I have a Pentium3 500Mhz, 64MB RAM with a Rage ATI Video Card, and an Xpert 128 Game engine. Ite kind of adventurous but a back viewed format.It's up to 2 players and sort of an arcade version type of thing. I would recommend this game for serious and stratatagic players only!

I upgraded from FMP 8. Installation went smoothly and all my databases and scripts run well. My only disappointment is that I had hoped to be able to sync with iPad Filemaker Go, but can't. I can add records on the iPad, then replace the file on my iMac with the iPad file, but they don't sync.

I have worked with Visio and PowerPoint (as a power user) for years and have found OrgChart to be a vastly better solution for making org charts. In our case we created the org chart from an excel spreadsheet. Now when we have personnel changes I update the spreadsheet and use the `synchronize' button to automatically update the chart. Since OrgChart publishes to PowerPoint and Visio we still have all of the publishing options we need, but everything takes a lot less time, and we also have a lot more control over chart appearance. I enthusiastically recommend it.

I really just love this game. I had previewed it on one of those software websites where it's a limited time version and wanted more. Man, is it fun! If you love time management games like I do, this is a good one. I like it more than Cake Mania, etc. It's not the longest game ever and it could have more user-selectable options (more varied game play, destinations, choices), but for what's it worth, I am glad I bought it at discount.
-1 star: The only negative is beware over playing it, carpal tunnel here we come! It's so fun, but give it a break sometimes as your mousing hand can really start to hurt with the 1,000 clicks a minute (just kidding, but seriously...).
Love this game, I need another version now!

I've been using POS 7.0 in my retail business for almost 2 years. The software saves a lot of time by transferring data to Quickbooks accounting software. Where the trouble arises is that it crashes ALL THE TIME. During 20 months of use, I'd had to call support 18 times because it does not work. May times it's the same issue, but new ones crop up from time to time as well. Intuit will then try to relieve you of an additional $80 per month for a support plan to fix things that keep breaking. So, if you are considering this software, go in with the knowledge that it will cost you downtime and an additional $80 per month for them to fix things that keep corrutpting files, creating duplictes file names in your data (bringing it all to a screeching halt) and a host of other ills that seem to be, in my opinion, built in bugs. They politely tell me that computers are complicated things and many items can cause problems, but I have NO problems with any other piece of software. VERY frustrating!

I'm an ACT! Certified Consultant and a QuickBooks Professional Advisor. This was a heavily requested product!
Lots of business people use both ACT! and QuickBooks, and it's a drain on their time to type a name & address into one product, then retype it again into the other product.
Installation is a snap. Then you have to go into QuickBooks/Preferences to tell it that another program can access it. Within ACT!, a tab is automatically added for QuickBooks information. You run ACT! first then start up QuickBooks and voila!
One caveat is that you can only move one contact at a time. One client said, 'no big deal' and moved 200 customers from ACT! to QuickBooks. It truly was no big deal because the link actually works. Previous links which claimed to move all the data did not work.

Another caveat was discovered by a client who uses QuickBooks Enterprise, a corporate product. This link will not recognize the Enterprise user privledges.
This is a great solution. I use it almost daily for my own business and clients love it too.

I just can't say enough, RentRight is a complete package for people in the rental business. The more I used it, the more I realized how much time was spent making the software really good, clearly designed from people that know the business. RentRight is VERY EASY for beginners and once you learn it, you'll see that it has everything you need to be a great landlord. Even complicated tasks in RentRight are easy, in the forms area you can click a form, then a Tenant and click merge, it auto-fills the document for you like magic. You can even select a form, then multiple Tenants, click merge and you have just created documents for multiple Tenants with just a few clicks, it's amazing. On their website you can download a trail version of RentRight, download product updates and view video tutorials, all FREE. I have owned and managed rental properties for 12 years and have been in the tech support business for 10 years, I only recommend RentRight software for landlords and property managers. After spending the time downloading and testing every product out there, my choice was easy, the clear winner was RentRight.

I would have to say this product is pretty amazing. However, to use it to it's full capability would require you to have a robust Active Directory, Windows 2003, Sharepoint Portal Server, Exchange 2003, SQL Server 2000 and a ton of trained end users.
The biggest downfall is that there is no viewer availiable so any forms that you create using Infopath will require the client PC to have a copy/liscensed version... You do the math. =)

I hate to be so negative, but I spent several hours trying to make this software perform some very basic functionality, and then waited over an hour on hold (during normal business hours) only to be told that the software won't do what I need it to.
What I needed it to do: I have organizations with more than one address. I have contacts that reside at these various locations. I needed to import the organizations (one unique organization record for each unique organization location, since the software does not have 3rd heirarchy, i.e., organization > location > contact), and then import the contacts and have them link to the organization (e.g., by organization name).
What it can't do:
1. You cannot import just organizations (i.e., a parent record). If you do, it will import the "organization name" to the "contact name" field and leave the "company" field blank, even though you set the field mapping to be "organization name" to "company name!" What you end up having to do is create fields for first and last names in the organization file to be imported, and these names have to be unique or the record will not import. So, you either have to assign a contact name (note, this cannot be a name of another contact that you will import later), or enter some arbitrary unique id. In my case, I entered a #.
2. It cannot recognize and link contacts based on a field (e.g., "organization name"); instead, you have to manually add each contact to the organization record's "related contact" field. However, even then these contacts are not truly "linked" - they are hyperlinked. The difference is that, after linking the contacts, if you were to make a change to an organization's record (e.g., if they changed the company name due to incorporation, changed office suite/address, etc.) the contact records would not be updated (i.e., they would still show the old company info...disasterous for any kind of targetted marketing effort!).
What I ended up with was a list of company records with numeric names, and contact records with identical company fields but absolutely no correlation or true link to the parent record. The tech support rep (which, again, I waited over an hour on hold for, and before that wait I had some customer support rep insisting that I buy a tech support package even though I literally just bought the software) told me that I would have to manually link each contact in the "related contacts" field of the company record. When I inquired further he conceded that it is still not a true link, but merely a hyperlink.
The bottom line is, if you're looking for even the most basic contact management functionality, this isn't it. Steer clear of it and save yourself hours and headaches. If you know of any really good contact software for small business contact management (Mac OS X preferrable, but either PC or Mac is fine), please email me!

I bought this to use with my Garmin eMap. For the USA the detail level is the same as came preinstalled on the unit--major highways. I've used it in London, Cambridge, Paris, Tokyo and Munich. There isn't really enough detail to find your way around any of these cities but it is useful for e.g. finding your way from suburb to suburb. The River Cam wasn't very close to where the map had it so it helps to use one's eyes. The maps are dated. We are developing a site in the high Andes near San Pedro de Atacama for the ALMA telescope--the map of that region did not show the Jama Road from Calama to Salta Argentina, a major international route (admittedly less than a decade old--but paved!).
