(More customer reviews)Anyone who knows anything about CRM systems knows that Goldmine is the top of the heap for low cost, Customer Relationship Management and automated prospect processing. It is not just a contact manager. If that is what you need, ACT will do fine. If you need anything more, you can't do better than Goldmine. That said, it's is not a simple, off the shelf product. It takes customization to your business and processes. But nothing comes anywhere close to the power. We've been running our business, with internet lead generation, and every form of contact tracking necessary with Goldmine for over 5 years. We can't do without it. It was tough to learn...and worth the effort. You will need help customizing it. There are numerous excellent "solutions partners" to help you. But, please, if you need a system that will grow and adapt to your business, don't settle for an electronic shoebox-calendar like ACT. The best thing is that you are getting a system worth 10's of thousands of dollars for much less. But it will take time and some resources to make it work for you. Quiters never win.
