Workshare Professional 5.0 (1-Year Term) Review

(More customer reviews)I started using Workshare Pro last year because the other attorneys working on a transaction were using it and I could not consistently open their redlines without it. I am writing this review because Workshare sent me an email with a link to this site specifically asking for reviews.
I have always found the MS WORD compare function to be adequate for my purposes and never had a problem with clients or lawyers being able to open the redlines.
Workshare Pro does a fair job of tracking changes. It hangs up my computer about once a week and freezes on documents with MS WORD table of contents or index of terms codes embedded. I have a Dell Latitude 620 with Windows XP and primarily Windows programs. I use on the same computer the HOTDOCS document assembly program and LaCerte Tax Programs. They may be incompatible with Workshare.
The file names that Workshare generates are fairly long and they also seem to be a problem for my system.
